Sunday saw the Women make a start on their Invitational Cup campaign travelling to Birmingham for a game against familiar competition.
The wet and grey weather didn't dampen spirits with the first quarter ending 4 - 0 to Cheltenham; with 4 different goal scorers. The half finished 10 - 0 to Cheltenham.
The second half of the game continued in the same vein with Cheltenham dominance all over the field with Birmingham struggling to clear the ball into their attacking half.
The final score was 21 - 1 to Cheltenham showing how much summer training has paid off, with great team goals, hustle, brick wall defence and re-defending from all the players.
Congratulations to Gabbie Freeman for Attack Player of the Match for her calm and composed settled play. Jenny Wood is Defence Player of the Match for huge caused turnovers and textbook re-defending!
