Sunday was the turn of the Women to hit the pitch and get their Invitational Cup challenge underway. Cheltenham are the only team to have won this league having won the last two season - no pressure ladies but did I hear someone say Three-peat?!

Birmingham always provide good competition and yesterday was no exception. Thankfully Cheltenham was ready to step up.

Hustle all over the field provided the Cheltenham attack ample opportunities to find the goal with Becky and Jenny N proving unstoppable in the attacking unit; playing with confidence and determination (especially when catching the ball on the back of the stick!!)

The defence were an unbreakable wall along with stand-in Goalie Sophia making saves and winning possession off the backline like a pro... no leg padding for the win!

No Cheltenham game would be complete with out a little gymnastics-style interlude and this week saw our formidable midfielder Grace complete a backwards roll even Simone Biles would be jealous of! 10/10
